Dabur India has moved the Delhi High Court against FSSAI’s direction to stop selling food products carrying absolute “100%” purity, natural, organic or guaranteed claims. Products affected include honey, ghee, vinegars, oils, coconut water and coconut milk.

Why this matters

The court challenge follows FSSAI telling Dabur to halt food sales carrying disputed “100%” claims. It adds regulatory pressure after the USFDA flagged CGMP lapses at Dabur’s Silvassa plant, while analysts recommended holding Dabur shares for two years.
