Grasim commits Rs 3,094 cr to double Harihar Lyocell capacity to 210,000 tpa by 2030

Aditya Birla Group's Grasim Industries has approved Rs 3,094 crore for phase-2 of its Harihar Lyocell plant in Karnataka, adding 110,000 tonnes across lines commissioning in 2028 and 2030. Total Lyocell capacity will reach 210,000 tpa, supporting apparel and textile demand within a 1 million tpa cellulosic ambition.
