Accessibility
RetailIntel should work for everyone who reads it — on a phone, with a keyboard, with a screen reader, in light or dark mode.

Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Every change to the site is checked by automated accessibility tests (axe) on phone and desktop sizes, in both light and dark themes, before and after it ships.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, starts with a "skip to content" link and has one main heading.
- Text and controls are tested for AA contrast in both the light and dark themes.
- Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels on phones.
- Animations respect "reduce motion" settings.
- Signal pages carry text, not images of text.
- Our emails are written in HTML text with no images, so screen readers and image-blocking mail apps read them fully.
Known limitations
- Signals summarise source articles; summaries are kept short and plain, but some source headlines contain jargon or abbreviations we do not expand.
- Links to source articles go to third-party publishers whose sites we do not control.
Feedback and help
If something on RetailIntel is hard to use, or you need content in another format, tell us. Say which page and what happened. We reply within 5 working days and treat accessibility barriers as bugs.
