Corrections & takedowns
Every RetailIntel signal links the article it came from. When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open; when content should not be here, we take it down.

Editorial standards
- Every signal comes from one cited article, linked on the page. How a signal is made, and the checks it must pass, are on About.
- Reporting and analysis are kept apart: forecasts and counter-cases are labelled as RetailIntel's analysis, not the source's reporting.
- Old news is labelled as old. When a story first reported months ago resurfaces, the signal says so, and it is never sent as an alert.
- Promit Biswas, Founder & Editor, is accountable for these standards.
Corrections
If a signal is wrong — a figure, a date, a name, who said what — use the correction form(it is also at the end of every signal). A corrected signal shows a later updated date; if a better copy of the same story replaces a signal, the old address forwards to it so links keep working.

If we remove content you published or asked for, we will tell you and you may respond. False or bad-faith notices may carry legal liability.
