The agreement
By using RetailIntel you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. RetailIntel (retailintel.in) is a product ofNorth Pulse LLC, a US limited liability company, run by its founder Promit Biswas ("we", "us"). If you use RetailIntel for an organisation, you agree for that organisation and confirm you may. A signed order form with your organisation takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and give a real email address you control.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and your API keys. Tell us at once if you think either has been misused.
- A paid seat is for one named person. Do not share sign-ins.
Our content, and what it is not
Signals, summaries, forecasts, counter-cases, brand briefs and Ask answers are produced from the articles they cite. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check the cited source before you rely on anything, and report errors through Corrections.
RetailIntel is information, not advice. Nothing on RetailIntel is investment, financial, legal, tax or other professional advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. RetailIntel is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India(or any other regulator) as an investment adviser or research analyst. Forecasts are our analysis of what may happen, not promises.
Free and paid plans
- Reading RetailIntel is free. RetailIntel Pro raises the limits on Ask and follows, as listed on Pricing when you buy. Team and company plans are agreed in writing.
- Pro is ₹999 a month including tax, the same price everywhere, billed monthly in advance. Outside India, checkout shows the price in your currency.
- Who sells it. Pro is sold through Link, the checkout of Stripe (Stripe Managed Payments). Link is the seller of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, collects and pays sales tax, VAT or GST, sends your receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions at support.link.com. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* RETAILINTEL. We provide the service itself and answer questions about it.
- Free trial. A first Pro subscription starts with a free trial (the length is shown at checkout). You give a payment method at the start and are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then; Link emails you when the trial starts and before it ends. One trial per person.
- Renewal and cancelling. Pro renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → Billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period already paid for, and it does not renew.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are not refunded for part-used periods, except where the law gives you a right to a refund or you were charged in error, in which case write to us or to Link support and it will be refunded.
- If a payment fails we retry it for a short period; if it still fails, your account returns to Free. Nothing you saved is deleted.
- We may change prices for future terms. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your renewal.

Our content and yours
RetailIntel's software, design, signal text, briefs, compilations and data belong to us. The articles we cite belong to their publishers; we link to them and quote only what is needed to report on them. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use RetailIntel for your own or your organisation's internal purposes under your plan.
You keep ownership of what you give us (questions, alert rules, messages). You let us process it to provide and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Changes to the service
RetailIntel changes as we learn what readers need. We may add, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance and, if you prefer to leave, refund the unused part of your prepaid fees.
Ending the agreement
- You can stop using RetailIntel at any time and ask us to delete your account (how).
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is required by law to be closed. Unless it would be unlawful or unsafe, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes) survive the end of the agreement.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows, RetailIntel is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a purpose or uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for decisions you make based on RetailIntel content, or for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to RetailIntel is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where consumer law applies to you.
If you use RetailIntel for an organisation, that organisation will cover our reasonable costs from claims caused by its breach of these terms or its unlawful use of RetailIntel.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, write to us first. We will try to resolve it within 30 days. Complaints about content or personal data can also go to our Grievance Officer (details).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. For material changes we will email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Using RetailIntel after that date means you accept the updated terms.
