Ather Energy clears Rs 1,200 crore preferential issue to fund capacity and product expansion

Ather Energy shareholders approved a Rs 1,200 crore preferential issue, taking total recent fundraising to about Rs 2,500 crore. The capital will expand manufacturing, technology and products, including a Maharashtra plant adding 5 lakh annual units and the August 29 Ather Konarc launch.
