Hyundai offers up to Rs 1.25 lakh on Creta N Line in October, while the Venue gets just Rs 5,000
Hyundai pairs a Rs 20,000 cash discount with a Rs 25,000 Navratri bonus on the Creta N Line, the highest across its line-up. Scrappage benefits of Rs 50,000 or an exchange offer of Rs 30,000 also apply, from 1 October to 31 October 2026.
The numbers
Figures from Autocar India,
| Creta petrol maximum benefit: | Rs 1.15 lakh |
|---|---|
| Verna older stock maximum benefit: | Rs 1.05 lakh |
| Alcazar petrol maximum benefit: | Rs 90,000 |
| Grand i10 Nios maximum benefit: | Rs 75,000 |
| Creta Electric select variants benefit: | Rs 65,000 |
Why it matters for the brand
Hyundai dealers have up to Rs 1.25 lakh to work with on the Creta N Line (including a Rs 25,000 Navratri bonus) from 1 to 31 October 2026, but only Rs 5,000 on the Venue, so showroom pitches and stock priorities should follow that gap.
What to track next
- Hyundai's November offer sheet: whether Creta and Alcazar benefits are kept, cut or raised
- Any extension of the Navratri bonus beyond 31 October 2026
- Venue benefits rising well above Rs 5,000 at dealers
- Matching cash or exchange offers on rival midsize SUVs during October
- October registration and dealer-stock data for Creta, Alcazar and Verna
Likely next moves
Our read of what comes next — analysis, not reported by the source.
- Hyundai is likely to keep the Venue near its Rs 5,000 benefit through October, treating it as a product that sells without heavy support.
- Expect Hyundai to let the Rs 25,000 Navratri bonus on the Creta N Line lapse after the festive window, and to rework the Creta and Alcazar offers in November rather than simply roll them over.
- Hyundai dealers will probably use the older-stock Verna benefit of Rs 1.05 lakh to clear remaining units, and may bundle exchange or finance sweeteners on top.
- Rival midsize and compact SUV makers may counter with their own festive cash or exchange offers, aimed at buyers comparing against the Creta's Rs 1.15 lakh petrol benefit.
- Customers are likely to bring purchases forward into the 1 to 31 October window, particularly for the Creta N Line and petrol Creta, where the benefits are largest.
The counter-case
The case against this reading — not reported by the source.
The headline reads as a brand-wide pricing signal, but it is really a single best-case number. 'Up to Rs 1.25 lakh' is the ceiling for one low-volume performance variant, the Creta N Line. It is not what a typical Hyundai buyer gets. The figure is also probably a bundle of cash discount, exchange bonus, loyalty bonus, corporate benefit and a Rs 25,000 festive Navratri add-on. Many buyers will not qualify for all of these, so the real cash saving could be far lower. Festive-season discounts in India are a seasonal routine, so a bigger offer in October does not by itself show weakening demand or a strategy shift. The contrast with the Venue at Rs 5,000 may only mean the Venue is selling well or is a fresher model, not that Hyundai is 'choosing' where to discount. The older-stock Verna offer is ordinary inventory clearing. The story packs a normal promotional calendar into a dramatic spread.
